Value of Water Conference | 17 + 18 March 2025
UN Sustainable Development Goal No. 6 stands for clean water and sanitation for all. The newly launched ‘Value of Water Conference’, which Messe Frankfurt is organising together with Euroforum – A Company of the Handelsblatt Media Group – on 17 and 18 March 2025 at the Congress Center of Messe Frankfurt, addresses this goal.
Experts from the sanitation, real estate and housing industries as well as political decision-makers, representatives of local authorities and international delegations, non-governmental and development organisations will meet here.
Through thoughtful dialogue and collaborative engagement, the conference seeks to accelerate progress towards achieving sustainable and equitable water solutions worldwide. The vision of the expert meeting point is to elevate water sustainability as a critical agenda item within the HVAC, water and building industry, empowering businesses to recognize their unique opportunities to drive meaningful impact through collaboration and innovation.
The programme of the ‘Value of Water’ conference offers a varied mix of keynotes, impulses, panel talks and international best practice presentations from different countries and initiatives. The breakout sessions in particular invite in-depth dialogue and offer space for new collaborations.

Building Future Conference | 17 – 20 March 2025
Whether more sustainability, transformation in the heating sector or reduction of greenhouse gases - the industries in the building sector are faced with enormous challenges. The high-calibre ‘Building Future Conference’ in the Portalhaus at Messe Frankfurt is a meeting place for experts from politics and local authorities, the property and housing industry, energy suppliers, planners, architects and project developers.

Design Plaza
The Design Plaza in Hall 3.1 is the central location for interior design, current trends and future prospects for the sanitary industry at ISH 2025. The varied programme with lectures, panel discussions and round tables is organised by various partners. These include the German Sanitary Industry Association (VDS), VDMA Sanitary Technology and Design industry association as well as World Architects, Stylepark und Architonic. The Design Plaza is also the starting point for guided tours of the trade fair and offers the opportunity for dialogue and networking.
Forum Building Technologies & Management
The future of technical building services is digital, energy efficient and intelligent - this is exactly what the Building Technologies & Management Forum in Hall 11.1 is all about, focussing on topics such as sustainability, digital data models, climate-neutral buildings and research, innovations and hygiene. In addition to short presentations, themed areas invite visitors to network. A hydraulic support unit for brine-to-water heat pump systems will bring energy management to life on site.
The forum is organised by the VDMA Automation Management for House Buildings trade association and the Federal German Industrial Association for Building Services and Technical Installations (BTGA).
House of Energy Congress (German only) | 19 + 20 March 2025
The House of Energy Congress will take place on 19 and 20 March in the Congress Center at Messe Frankfurt under the title ‘Keys to transformation - digitalisation, infrastructure, skilled workers’.
Together with company representatives from the energy scene, start-ups and multipliers, we look forward to shedding light on exciting aspects of the energy transition.
On both days, you can expect interesting presentations and intensive discussion rounds as well as plenty of time for networking. The programme will be rounded off with a start-up exhibition.
Energy Consultants' Day (German only) | 20 March 2025
The development of strategies to promote energy-efficient and sustainable building concepts is also the focus of the 13th German Energy Consultants’ Day organised by Econsult. This will take place on 20 March.
Exhibitor Stage
For the first time, there will be a stage for specialist lectures and presentations by exhibitors at ISH.
The Exhibitor Stage will be located in Hall 12.1 and will focus on topics in the field of building technology. The detailed programme will be available here shortly.

Architeller
Discover the new lecture format at ISH 2025: Architeller brings together architects and exhibitors in a meaningful, professional and entertaining way. In three-minute short pitches, participants present their ideas to an audience – directly at the Design Plaza in Hall 3.1. A high-calibre jury then evaluates the contributions.
The pitches will take place on Tuesday, 18 March and Wednesday, 19 March 2025, each day from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
